The
eFast card is reserved to corporate clients of BatamFast Ferry Pte
Ltd that participate in this program. It is available to employees of
companies (“the Clients”) that travel in these ferries
(“the Cardholders”).
Your
eFAST Card is a record of our agreement to carry you or to arrange
for your carriage. Your eFAST Card is our property, and shall be
returned to us upon request.
The
Card is strictly personal, and cannot be sold or lent; it is not a
payment or credit card.
The
Client is responsible for informing the designated Cardholders of
these terms and conditions, and ensuring compliance. By joining or
renewing membership in the eFast Card program a Company explicitly
accepts these General Terms and Conditions and any subsequent
revisions.
1. Receiving a Card
1.1 Initial order
To
receive the Cards, the Client must complete and sign the Credit Terms
& Credit application form together with Membership application
Form to
the Finance Department, Batam Fast Ferry Pte. Ltd., 1 Maritime
Square, #11-20, Harbourfront Centre, Singapore 099253.
Once the application is
approved, a company code will be issuing to the client for reference.
1.2 Card
content
Each
Card bears the name of the Client, the name of the Cardholder and the
expiration date (six months before passport expiry date).
There
will be an administration charge S$5.00 per card. Please
note that no reimbursement is made on payments for any cancelled
cards.
1.3 Renewal
and Issuing of Cards
Should
there be any change in passport particulars, a notification shall
send to our eFast card centre in writing, by fax or via email.
The
Client must fill out and sign a new eFast card application form. When
Cards are renewed, there will an administration charge S$5 per card.
The
processing time of new eFast card take approximately 2 weeks.
1.4 Delivery
of Cards
Cards
are delivered to the Client at the address on the Order Form within 3
weeks from the time the complete order is received.
1.5 Cancellation
of Cards
When
the Cardholder leaves the company, the Client may request that this
Card be cancelled and the card must return back to BatamFast Ferry
Pte Ltd.
2. Program
Benefits
Once signed up, you will
enjoy the following benefits:
2.1. Discounts on
tickets. The extent of which depends on the agreement we make. In
general, the more you travel, the higher the discounts! The discount
will be based upon the ferry ticket fare and not the total price
includes Terminal Fees and Surcharges.
2.2 Interactive and user
friendly booking. You can book seat directly via SMS booking or
Internet booking using your personal identification number. There is
no need to call us to find out about trip availability – all
information appears directly on your computer screen.
2.3 This card is the
combination of e-TICKET and RFID card (boarding pass), you will be
alleviating from the queues at the check-in counter to collect for
ticket and boarding pass and direct enter to pre-imm gate and
boarding gate of Cruise Centre.
3. Responsibility
by Card Holder
3.1 Seat booking
If you wish to reserve a
seat on a particular service, you must make the reservation no later
than 2 hours before your required departure time. Please refer to our
published timetables for information on reservation periods for
particular services.
Booking your trip has
been easier; you may choose to have options SMS booking or Internet
booking. Please refer to our guideline as attached.
Reservations using the
system are made by filling out and accepting respective steps in the
Reservation order.
Acceptance of each step
and conditions therein is necessary for the reservation process to be
completed successfully.
All
reservations are subject to availability of seats on the service for
which you request a reservation, and you will not be given a
reservation if no seats are available on the service.
When your booking is
confirmed, a reference number will be issued to you.
You
must be at the Pre-Immigration gate with their boarding pass at least
30 minutes prior to departure in order to hold the reservation and
seat assignment.
We reserve the right to
cancel any seat booking as a result of war, threat of war, riot,
civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or
nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or other
circumstances amounting to force majeure. Should this happen, we will
be unable to refund any payments made.
3.2 Cancellation
& No Show Charges
An online reservation may
be cancelled or postponed by SMS or Internet, quoting the reference
numberat least one hour prior to departure.
No-show charge of one
way ferry fare is applicable if a confirmed reservation is not cancelled for voyage
closed.
4. Responsibility
by Batam Fast
We have the right to
temporarily suspend the access to the System for the time needed to
remove possible dangers and failures.
We
do not bear responsibility for the System being unavailable for use
resulting from reasons beyond our control.
5. Terms
of Payment
A weekly statement of
your travelling history will
send to you via email, at the address given on the Application form.
The statement contains the following information:
- Name
of the Cardholder
- Card
number
- Date
& Time travelled
- Breakdown
of charges (including
Ferry ticket fare, Terminal Fees & Surcharges).
If payment is not made
within the due time, we reserve the right to make any changes to the
seat booked, or to cancel any reservations made on your behalf.
6. Others.
6.1 To avoid misuse, the
eFast card must ensure that the PIN is not disclosed to unauthorised
third parties. If there is any suspicion of misuse of the PIN, the
BatamFast eFast card Centre must be notified. BatamFast cannot be
held liable for losses arising from any culpable failure to notify,
belated notification, or losses occurring before receipt of the
notification, unless such losses are caused by wilful action or gross
negligence.
6.2 If your card is lost
or stolen please immediately contact us. This allows us to block
cards that are reported as lost of stolen and immediately make them
void, stopping anyone trying to use the card from accessing the
booking system. We can then arrange for a re-print of your card which
will be charged at a $5 fee.
6.3 The member may give
written Termination notice of eFAST card and is subject to two weeks’
notice.
6.4 The
eFast card holder accepts that the program may be modified, in whole
or in part, at any time. In this case, a letter specifying the new
General Terms and Conditions, as well as the date they take effect,
will be sent to each Cardholder.
6.5 The
carriage of passengers, baggage is subject to the General Condition
of Carriage. For more details, please refer to our website

6.7 Should you have a
problem with seat reservation, please contact the eFAST Card
department.
